Yes, a report on the show please JJean.
I would love to see Georgie doing a live show
    but never had the opportunity.

What songs did he sing ?

Today the songs in my head are Time and Tide and Cherry Red - "come here my pretty woman and ........"
    such a smoooooth song. :)

In case anybody is wondering - these songs are on the new website (see 'Link to Alan Price On Line' thread)
and I have just been playing them repeatedly while working in my office today - love them!

p.s. will try and write a bit on the Georgie Fame show tomorrow.

    No Ever Hurt So Bad

How does Alan do that little husky grace-note thing with his voice on "ever hurt"? It's really marvelous... color.gif

    Holly - is that a typo? :D
    should that title be
"No-one Ever Hurt So Bad" ?

The song in my head today is -
You Can Leave It All To Me

(I think I've seen that somewhere before )

    Shame

Somehow in my head, though, it keeps getting mixed up with David Bowie's song "Fame." Wonder if Bowie was thinking of Alan's song when he wrote his?

The Song In My Head Today is "Goin' Down Slow" which is
on www.AlanPriceMusic.co.uk (on the "Tour Dates" page) -
a live performance and soooo great -
    as Tony says "IT SMOKES".

Try getting that out of your head when you have listened to it about
    a dozen times

Well, until I read your post, Jean, I was singing Poor People.

But now it's Goin' Down Slow. One of the smokiest songs EVER!

Beat Out That Rhythm On A Drum

I have been watching that Youtube clip and it is
one of those songs that you can't stop singing -
especially when you've listened to it a dozen times
    or more! yes.gif
