This a tune played the Jackie Souder Orchestra from the mid-20's or so, this was the only slideshow I found that had the JSO version anywhere:

(if that doesn't work, here you go: http://dai.ly/cCDNsZ)

I really love this song... I do have weird tastes but 20's jazz is one of my favorites. Does anyone have this at all in their music folder, by any chance?

Don't worry Jean- it's alright, because it's one of the those really unknown tunes anyway. I think it was a popular local song, back in those days.

Although I do have another question, and this one is one that has just popped into my head. I've realized something (at last)- Alan Price recorded a lot of work onto several A and B sided records, like they were album samples or something... even if most of those didn't turn into the big hits of his career, did he make a whole album scratching all that material on one single disc apart from his Anthology?

Thanks a million, Daria. It's also my grandpa Rex's favorite song from that period as well. When I move to the US, I'm planning on surprising him with a compilation of these songs; he's going to like it for sure :)
