I don't know if some of you know about this already, but Eric Burdon is going to play with his old band WAR
(although it will be a different lineup), at the Royal Albert Hall in London on the 21/04/08 for a one-off gig!
The rumour has it that Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page are going to turn up!
Tickets are on sale from the 14th of Feb at 9:00AM, but the presale starts on Wed, the 13th at 9:00AM!
(although I believe that the presale is not for the general public!).

Welcome, snus! I'm surprised Eric didn't invite Alan to join them too. Well, London's a bit far for me to travel,
but if they want to bring the show to the USA...

I actually have no idea if Alan knows already about the show or not! I hope he might turn up as part of the audience
(I don't care if he performs or not! ) I've also e-mailed Barrie Jenkins!
So far, no luck with the pre-sale business, it keeps saying "More info Coming Soon" :?
I also found out on the Most Blueswailing Yardbirds forum that this one-off performance will also be filmed for
subsequent DVD release!
So, if everything goes according to plan, and the show is on, you'll be able to watch it at least!

Whats strange as well as it isnt mentioned on the Albert Halls website. Any other shows which
do not have tickets on sale yet are still listed but with ticket availability dates ... odd that this one
should be any different.

I double checked his website not a word about it. He has a dates booked as follows:

It isnt at all impossible for him to fit the 21st April in being as he is in germany on 29th March and
isnt playing again until 26th April in the US.

There are plenty of sites selling tickets though (well going to sell) so it would seem and
I cant imagine that they are all wrong about this...

I'm not really familiar with Eric Burdon's own forum though... I guess it's not as well advertised as this one on Youtube!
I'm partly based these days -both in Scotland and Belgium- not having settled properly in one or the other country yet!...
